Abstract:

“Switzerland has been a nation of immigration for more than a hundred years. After the watershed year of 2002, immigration from the rest of Europe increased dramatically. The new immigrants are contributing to Switzerland’s prosperity. However, new problems and concerns have emerged – in the housing market, on the labour market, in social welfare and, last but not least, in terms of social integration.”
