L’entretien d’accueil pour primo-arrivant·e·s : articulations possibles avec les prestations de conseil en orientation

Abstract:
“Afin de faciliter le premier contact des jeunes migrant·e·s de 15 à 25 ans avec les autorités scolaires suisses, un « entretien d’accueil » a été mis en place dans le Canton de Vaud afin de leur souhaiter la bienvenue et de les aider à identifier les possibilités de scolarisation, de formation et/ou de travail qui s’offrent à eux. Dans un premier temps, cet article vise à présenter le déroulement et le contenu du dispositif spécifique à cet entretien. Dans un second temps, les articulations éventuelles de ce dernier avec les démarches d’orientation traditionnelles sont discutées. Enfin, certaines particularités et points de vigilance dans la prise en charge de personnes issues de la migration dans ce cadre sont mis en évidence. ”Mots-clés : entretien d’accueil, migration, primo-orientation, conseil, information“In order to facilitate the first contact of young migrants between the ages of 15 and 25 with the Swiss school system authorities, a “welcome interview” has been set up in the State of Vaud, in order to welcome and introduce them to the school, training and/or work opportunities available to them. First, the aim of this article is to describe the specific settings and contents of such an interview. Second, the possible linkages with traditional career counseling activities are discussed.
