General Survey of the Young Migrant’s Situation

Abstract:

A general picture may be outlined of the situation of second generation migrants in Belgium, France, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland who have not officially acquired the nationality of the host country, and a few preliminary conclusions may be drawn from the analysis. Statistical, legal and qualitative approaches were adopted to carry out the investigation; each approach brought out certain aspects of the “economic condition” of the young foreigners.
