“Capacity Zurich is a non-profit talent and start-up incubator for persons with refugee or migrant backgrounds. For our project, we developed a plan to assist Capacity in expanding their entrepreneurship programs beyond the city of Zurich. We conducted interviews and distributed surveys to stakeholders of Capacity, and researched similar organizations. These steps helped us determine the applicability of Capacity’s course materials and the success of their current programs. We combined our recommendations into a prototype expansion blueprint in order to help Capacity start a location in another city. Allowing Capacity to exist beyond Zurich will allow more people with a refugee or migrant background to financially support themselves despite the limitations currently in place.”
