Abstract:
Cette thèse, qui se focalise sur le cas de la migration non documentée (harga) tunisienne, se base sur des données ethnographiques récoltées en Tunisie, en Suisse et en Italie ainsi que sur des données digitales collectées sur Internet, principalement sur Facebook. Se concentrant sur le discours et les représentations des acteurs eux-mêmes, ce travail aborde deux aspects en particulier. Il s’agit premièrement d’analyser comment les harraga tunisiens revendiquent leur droit à émigrer, ceci en s’intéressant aux différentes façons dont leur argumentaire est construit puis mobilisé. Le second objectif est de comprendre comment les harragatunisiens donnent du sens à leur parcours migratoire et comment ils gardent espoir face à un avenir incertain.Mots-clés : Migration non documentée ; harga ; harraga ; sans-papiers ; Tunisie ; Suisse ; Italie ; imaginaires ; revendications ; anthropologie ; ethnographie.This PhD dissertation focuses on the case of Tunisian undocumented migration (harga). It is based on ethnographic data collected in Tunisia, in Switzerland and in Italy. This research is also based on digital data gathered on Internet, mostly on Facebook. It focuses on the migrants’ discourses and imaginaries. The first goal is to analyze how Tunisian harragas claim their right to migrate and how they challenge migratory policies. Secondly, we aim at studying how they look back on their own migratory experience, in order to understand how they make sense and cope with it.
