Ce Cahier s\u2019interroge sur les comportements politiques dans le contexte de \u00ab crise \u00bb (\u00e9conomique, migratoire et s\u00e9curitaire) que traverse le continent europ\u00e9en depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Apr\u00e8s une introduction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale retra\u00e7ant les origines et les d\u00e9veloppements de ces crises multiples, les diff\u00e9rents chapitres se focalisent sur quatre probl\u00e9matiques plus sp\u00e9cifiques : (1) l\u2019influence des clivages traditionnels sur les attitudes et le vote des citoyens ; (2) le r\u00f4le des valeurs dans la structuration des attitudes sur l\u2019immigration et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ; (3) les attitudes et les comportements des citoyens issus de l\u2019immigration ; (4) l\u2019influence des attitudes en mati\u00e8re d\u2019immigration et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur la participation \u00e9lectorale et les autres formes de participation politique. L\u2019\u00e9tude se penche sur trois pays europ\u00e9ens (la France, la Suisse et la Su\u00e8de) et analyse les donn\u00e9es issues de la vague 2014-2015 de l\u2019enqu\u00eate<\/div>\n
European Social Survey. Dans l\u2019ensemble, les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e9montrent l\u2019importance primordiale acquise par la th\u00e9matique de l\u2019immigration dans la structuration des pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences politiques en Europe.<\/div>\n

This Working Paper deals with the question of political behavior in the wake of the economic, immigration and security crises that have been developing in Europe for several years. After a general introduction on the origins and unfolding of these crises, the next chapters focus on four specific issues: (1) the influence of traditional cleavages on citizens\u2019 political attitudes and voting choices; (2) the role of values as determinants of immigration and security attitudes; (3) the political attitudes and behavior of citizens with an immigration background; (4) the influence of immigration and security attitudes on voting turnout and other forms of political participation. Our study draws on the situation of three European countries (France, Switzerland, and Sweden) as documented by the 2014-2015 wave of the European Social Survey. Overall, our empirical results point out the key relevance of the immigration issue for understanding political preferences in contemporary Europe.<\/div>\n
