Dans un premier temps, nous nous attacherons aux modes de d\u00e9signation des \u00e9trangers ainsi qu\u2019aux traits st\u00e9r\u00e9otypiques syst\u00e9matiquement invoqu\u00e9s pour les caract\u00e9riser. Dans un second temps, nous nous int\u00e9resserons \u00e0 la dimension argumentative de ces traits, et plus sp\u00e9cifiquement aux \u00e9motions qu\u2019ils visent \u00e0 produire. Notre conclusion sera l\u2019occasion d\u2019int\u00e9grer la probl\u00e9matique de la st\u00e9r\u00e9otypification \u00e0 celle de l\u2019id\u00e9ologie, ici l\u2019id\u00e9ologie nationaliste.<\/p>\n<p class=\"abstract\" dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"fr-FR\">Following a linguistic definition of stereotypes and based on a corpus of political discourses, this paper aims at analysing how the Swiss nationalist party <em>Union D\u00e9mocratique du Centre<\/em> builds a specific image of the Stranger. First, we analyse the means by which strangers are named and referred to, and the stereotypical attributes they are associated with. Second, we take the argumentative dimension of these stereotypical attributes into account by looking at the emotions which these discourses appeal to.
