At the end of the same year, 111’276 people resided in Swiss territory

under asylum status. The presence of these newcomers in Switzerland has induced a

debate about their impact on the host economy, specifically about their labour mar-

ket chances and the resulting impact on the Swiss exchequer. Since no analysis exists

that looks at the determinants of labour market integration and fiscal consequences

of refugees in Switzerland, this master thesis aims at closing this gap in the literature.

Author(s) : Lucca Zachmann Source : https://www.econ.uzh.ch/dam/jcr:b2f6f753-2bf9-4708-ba7c-6df14dadd131/MA_Lucca%20Zachmann.pdf Abstract:

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

16
14,15,9,19,83,36,103,91,219
post-559","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-economics","tag-14","tag-economic-impact","tag-english-language","tag-labour-market","tag-labour-market-policy","tag-migration-policy","tag-refugees","tag-social-integration","tag-thesis
["GET
