Nous int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiant[e]s de la Haute \u00e9cole p\u00e9dagogique du canton de Vaud en Suisse, nous avons choisi d\u2019apporter un \u00e9clairage sur certains aspects peu visibles de l\u2019\u00e9valuation de leurs comp\u00e9tences en contexte de stage. Nous souhaitons en particulier mettre en \u00e9vidence la distance parfois observ\u00e9e, d\u2019une part, entre les imp\u00e9ratifs de l\u2019\u00e9valuation et les tentatives pour lui conf\u00e9rer une certaine objectivit\u00e9 et, d\u2019autre part, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des jugements port\u00e9s sur leurs comp\u00e9tences apparemment influenc\u00e9s par leurs origines migratoires. Les r\u00e9sultats, issus d\u2019une recherche qualitative s\u2019appuyant sur des entretiens semi-directifs, montrent \u2014 du moins dans le cadre des \u00e9valuations formatives et informelles des FEIM en contexte de stage \u2014 que ceux[celles]-ci se retrouvent expos\u00e9[e]s \u00e0 des st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes et \u00e0 l\u2019expression de doutes quant \u00e0 leurs comp\u00e9tences de m\u00eame acabit que ceux rencontr\u00e9s dans leur parcours scolaire ant\u00e9rieur. Leur parcours de formation en enseignement ne semble donc pas les mettre \u00e0 l\u2019abri de l\u2019expression de doutes li\u00e9s au fait d\u2019\u00eatre issus de la migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Future primary school teachers with a migrant background (FEIMs) represent a popula-tion that has been relatively under-researched. Focusing on students from the University of Teacher Education in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, we have chosen to shed light on certain less-visible aspects of the assessment of their competencies during internships. In particular, we aim to highlight the gap that is sometimes observed between the prescribed evaluation process, including attempts to grant it some degree of objectivity, and the rea-lity of the judgements made about their competencies, judgements apparently influenced by these students\u2019 ties to migration. The findings, from qualitative research based on semi-structured interviews, suggest that, at least in the context of formative and informal evaluations of FEIMs during internships, they are subject to stereotypes and expressions of doubt regarding their competencies, similar to those they have already encountered in their prior educational experiences.
