Une de ses principales portes d\u2019entr\u00e9e dans les empires coloniaux fut son engagement dans le champ missionnaire. En s\u2019appuyant sur l\u2019exemple de la Mission de Foumban (SMEP), au Cameroun, cet article analyse la place des activit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales et le r\u00f4le des femmes professionnelles de sant\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la \u00ab Suisse coloniale \u00bb au cours de l\u2019entre-deux-guerres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Switzerland was a \u201ccountry without colonies,\u201d it did not remain on the sidelines of the history of European colonization. One of its main gateways into the colonial empires was its commitment to missionary work.
