En menant une enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s de ses employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s, la Ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds a fait preuve d\u2019une d\u00e9marche innovatrice en Suisse dans le traitement des questions de diversit\u00e9 et de discrimination au sein de l\u2019environnement professionnel. L\u2019enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une diversit\u00e9 parmi les employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s, comprenant le genre, le pays de naissance et l\u2019origine migratoire. Si les nationalit\u00e9s les plus nombreuses de la ville sont pr\u00e9sentes parmi les r\u00e9pondant\u00b7e\u00b7s de l\u2019enqu\u00eate, on observe une absence des personnes d\u2019origine \u00e9rythr\u00e9enne (1% de la population) et turque (0.8% de la population). Il est l\u00e9gitime de se demander si la repr\u00e9sentativit\u00e9 des groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s pourrait \u00eatre augment\u00e9e afin de profiter des comp\u00e9tences de toute la population active.<br \/>\nAu total, 34 pays de naissance et 22 nationalit\u00e9s sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s parmi les r\u00e9pondant\u00b7e\u00b7s de l\u2019enqu\u00eate. Parmi les nationalit\u00e9s \u00e9trang\u00e8res, on trouve principalement des nationalit\u00e9s d\u2019Europe de l\u2019Ouest. La grande majorit\u00e9 des employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s parle le fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 la maison, soit 94%. Cependant, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de la discrimination est une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 pour une part importante des employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s de la Ville. Parmi ceux\u00b7celles qui ont subi une forme de discrimination, les raisons mentionn\u00e9es le plus fr\u00e9quemment sont le genre et l\u2019\u00e2ge, suivis de l\u2019origine nationale. La conciliation entre la vie professionnelle et la vie familiale reste un sujet important, surtout parmi les r\u00e9pondant\u00b7e\u00b7s avec des responsabilit\u00e9s de soutien envers des personnes tierces.
