Com recurso a um <em>cloze test<\/em> e a um question\u00e1rio parental detalhado, os resultados mostram que o desenvolvimento do portugu\u00eas, a l\u00edngua de heran\u00e7a (LH) dos participantes, \u00e9 moldado pela quantidade e o tipo de contacto com a LH no seio da fam\u00edlia. Mostra-se, tamb\u00e9m, que a profici\u00eancia em ambas as l\u00ednguas est\u00e1 positivamente correlacionada, desconstruindo a conce\u00e7\u00e3o subtrativa do bilinguismo migrat\u00f3rio. Complementarmente, foram recolhidas as opini\u00f5es dos professores do Ensino Portugu\u00eas no Estrangeiro (EPE) Su\u00ed\u00e7a, do Cam\u00f5es &#8211; Instituto da Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o e da L\u00edngua, atrav\u00e9s de um question\u00e1rio e de uma oficina de forma\u00e7\u00e3o, real\u00e7ando a necessidade de di\u00e1logo triangular entre a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica sobre aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o da linguagem, a pr\u00e1tica did\u00e1tica e a gest\u00e3o lingu\u00edstica no seio de fam\u00edlias portuguesas na di\u00e1spora.<\/p>\n<section class=\"item keywords\">\n<h2 class=\"label\">Palavras-chave:<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"value\"> Bilinguismo, Portugu\u00eas L\u00edngua de Heran\u00e7a, L\u00edngua Maiorit\u00e1ria, Compet\u00eancia lingu\u00edstica, Perce\u00e7\u00f5es dos Professores <\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h1 class=\"page_title\">Multiple perspectives on the bilingual competence of Portuguese-descendant children living in Switzerland: Linguistics in dialogue with didactics<\/h1>\n<p>The present paper presents the results of an empirical study on the bilingual competence of 180 Portuguese-descent children living in three language areas of Switzerland (German, French and Italian). Using a cloze test and a detailed parental questionnaire, the results show that the development of the participants&#8217; heritage language (HL) (Portuguese) is shaped by the amount and type of contact that they have with their HL within the family. It is also shown that proficiency in one language correlates with proficiency in the other positively, thus, deconstructing the subtractive conception of migrant bilingualism. Additionally, the opinions of teachers of the <em>Portuguese Teaching Abroad<\/em> network (EPE) in Switzerland, from the Cam\u00f5es &#8211; Instituto da Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o e da L\u00edngua, were collected through a questionnaire and a teachers&#8217; training workshop.
