Taking place in specific spaces and places, these circuits are determined by the historical, social, economic, legal and institutional contexts of the countries concerned but also by the conditions of departure and arrival, the status of the migrant in the host country, his or her biographical journey, transnational social network, and ability to act in a new context. These debt circuits cover different social functions and relate to various moral, emotional and relational experiences.”

Keywords: migration, Switzerland, debts, money, transnational family, transfer

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

16
654,7,176,21,52,104,122,356,177,373,632,279,26
post-33808","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-economics","tag-654","tag-article","tag-economic-integration","tag-family","tag-french-language","tag-living-conditions","tag-migrants","tag-migratory-status","tag-psychological-well-being","tag-qualitative-research","tag-remittances","tag-socioeconomic-factors","tag-transnationalism
["GET
