Wir zeigen, dass Ausl\u00e4nderinnen und Ausl\u00e4nder im Durchschnitt 6,5 Prozent weniger h\u00e4ufig zu einem Bewerbungsgespr\u00e4cheingeladen wurden als gleich qualifizierte Schweizerinnen und Schweizer. Besonders ausgepr\u00e4gt war diese Benachteiligung bei MigrantInnen vom Balkan, aus Afrika, dem Nahen Osten und Asien, welche auch im Schweizer Alltag besonders oft mit Vorurteilen zu k\u00e4mpfen haben. Unsere Daten zeigen ferner, dass die ausl\u00e4ndische Herkunft der Stellensuchenden gegen Mittag und gegen Abend \u2013 wenn die Personalverantwortlichen die Lebensl\u00e4ufe schneller durchgehen \u2013 einen st\u00e4rkeren negativen Einfluss hat. Eine generelle geschlechtsspezifische Diskriminierung bei der Einstellung finden wir nicht. Hinter diesem allgemeinen Befund verbirgt sich jedoch die aus der Literatur bereits bekannte heterogene Situation: Bei gleicher Qualifikation werden Frauen vor allem in typischen M\u00e4nnerberufen diskriminiert und M\u00e4nner in weiblich dominierten Berufen. Zudem finden wir, dass der Wunsch nach Teilzeitarbeit ein grosses Hindernis bei der Stellensuche darstellt, insbesondere f\u00fcr M\u00e4nner.Dies l\u00e4uft Anstrengungen, eine ausgeglichenere Aufteilung von Erwerbs- und Nichterwerbsarbeit zwischen den Geschlechtern zu erreichen, entgegen.&#8221;<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;<span class=\"abstract-summary open\">We analyse the search and selection behaviour of thousands of recruiters on one of thelargest online labour market platforms in Switzerland and are thus able to examine the role that origin, gender and other characteristics known to us and to the recruiters play in the chance of a job interview. We<span class=\"hidden-text\"> show that on average, foreigners were 6.5 per cent less likely to be invited to an interview than Swiss. This disadvantage was particularly pronounced among migrants from the Balkans, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, who also often struggle with prejudices in everyday life in Switzerland. Our data also show that the foreign origin of jobseekers has a stronger negative influence at midday and in the evening, when recruiters go through the CVs more quickly. We do not find any general gender discrimination in hiring. However, this general finding conceals the heterogeneous situation already known from the literature: with the same qualifications, women are discriminated against above all in typical male occupations and men in female-dominated occupations. In addition, we find that the desire for part-time work is a major obstacle in the job search, especially for men.
