L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de cette \u00e9tude r\u00e9side dans la constatation qu\u2019apr\u00e8s cinq ans de s\u00e9jour en Suisse, les femmes ayant initialement des caract\u00e9ristiques socio-culturelles et professionnelles semblables : origine nationale et culturelle, niveau de formation et motivation d\u2019immigration, ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une forte dispersion au niveau de leur int\u00e9gration sur le march\u00e9 du travail. Notre objectif principal a donc consist\u00e9 \u00e0 analyser des parcours post-migratoires particuliers afin de d\u00e9pister les facteurs explicatifs du degr\u00e9 in\u00e9gal d\u2019insertion professionnelle et aussi \u00e0 comprendre les m\u00e9canismes de choix et de mise en place des strat\u00e9gies d\u2019action individuelle permettant de r\u00e9ussir une int\u00e9gration professionnelle qualifiante. Nous avons men\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate empirique, quantitative et qualitative, en nous basant sur une triple approche th\u00e9orique : la th\u00e9orie \u00e9conomique du lien entre formation et emploi, la th\u00e9orie des ressources sociales et la th\u00e9orie des rapports de pouvoir et de division du travail entre les sexes.
