Der Zusammenhang zwischen Migration und Kriminalit\u00e4t ist nicht nur politisches Dauerthema, sondern auch eine viel diskutierte kriminologische Fragestellung. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die durch Fl\u00fcchtlinge in der Schweiz begangene Kriminalit\u00e4t in den Jahren 2009\u20132015 anhand \u00f6ffentlicher Statistiken analysiert. Es wird festgestellt, dass die neuere Fl\u00fcchtlingsbewegung aus dem Nahen Osten in die Schweiz zu einem deutlichen R\u00fcckgang der Belastungsziffern gef\u00fchrt hat. Obwohl die Asylpopulation im untersuchten Zeitraum stark gewachsen ist, nahm die durch sie verursachte registrierte Kriminalit\u00e4t sowohl relativ als auch absolut ab. Nach der Analyse der kriminalstatistischen Daten werden die festgestellten Entwicklungen in Zusammenhang mit einer Befragung von Fl\u00fcchtlingen (N = 78) in der Ostschweiz gebracht, welche im April 2016 durchgef\u00fchrt wurde. Den Abschluss des Beitrags bildet eine Diskussion dieser Ergebnisse. Es sollen im Lichte bisheriger kriminologischer Erkenntnisse Chancen und Risiken f\u00fcr die zuk\u00fcnftige Kriminalit\u00e4tsentwicklung identifiziert und allf\u00e4llige Implikationen f\u00fcr die Kriminalpolitik eruiert werden.<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>
\nThe relationship between migration and delinquency is not only a perpetual subject of the political debate, but it is also an intensively discussed topic in criminological enquiry. This research used detailed public statistics to analyze crimes committed by refugees in Switzerland from 2009 to 2015. Despite the recent refugee migrations into Switzerland from the Middle East, there has been a distinct decline in the crime rates. While the asylum population grew rapidly during that period, the number of registered offenses both relatively and in absolute numbers decreased. This work analyzes these statistics, then presents the findings from a survey of refugees residing in Eastern Switzerland (N=78), which was conducted in April 2016. Finally, it provides criminological reflections on the presented results, which shall facilitate the identification of prospects and risks related to future crime trends, as well as a discussion of possible implications for the crime policy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
