Partant de deux entretiens embl\u00e9matiques parmi la quinzaine que les auteures ont eus avec de jeunes latino-am\u00e9ricains et latino-am\u00e9ricaines sans autorisation de s\u00e9jour en Suisse, l\u2019article analyse les recompositions des relations et des r\u00f4les familiaux dans la migration du point de vue des jeunes. En examinant d\u2019une part la nouvelle attribution des r\u00f4les familiaux dans le cadre de la famille transnationale et d\u2019autre part l\u2019acquisition de nouveaux r\u00f4les chez ces jeunes devenant peu \u00e0 peu adultes, l\u2019article cherche \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la question suivante\u00a0: En quoi la migration, l\u2019appartenance \u00e0 une famille transnationale et le statut de sans-papiers acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent-ils, infl\u00e9chissent-ils ou red\u00e9finissent-ils le passage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte et les reconfigurations familiales qui l\u2019accompagnent\u00a0?<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Beginning with two representative interviews from the more than a dozen the authors conducted with young Latin Americans living illegally in Switzerland, this paper explores, from the point of view of youth, how family roles and relationships are redefined in migration. By examining the new assignment of family roles characteristic of the transnational family and the way in which these young people take on new roles as they gradually enter adulthood, the paper seeks to answer the following question: In what way do migration, being part of a transnational family and illegal status accelerate, influence or redefine the passage to adulthood and the family reconfigurations that ensue?<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
